Add Google Chrome to Desktop

The addition of a Google Chrome shortcut to the desktop is easy. Right-click the desktop and choose the option ‘New’. After that, select Shortcut from the menu.

It will open a new window to make the shortcut. Click the Browse button and choose chrome.exe from the chrome installation folder located in the “Program Files” folder of the Windows install drive.

If you’re using 64-bit Windows 10, paste the below address into the text box next to the button ‘Browse.

After choosing chrome.exe, click on the Next button.

The next page, enter in ‘Chrome or just leave it in the default format and then click the ‘Finish’ button . This will include Google Chrome as a Google Chrome shortcut to your desktop.

Pin Google Chrome to Taskbar

Start Google Chrome on your PC. It will show its icon on the taskbar once it is opened. Right-click it and you will see several choices. Select ‘Pin to the taskbar’.

Alternately, click on the start button , then scroll to the bottom of the screen until you find Google Chrome.
