To remove the playlist from your library. Double-tap on the playlist, then select “Delete” in the drop-down menu.

Removing Albums From Your Library
Method 1. To remove albums from your library, select the option ‘Your library’ on the left side on your Spotify desktop application’s screen. Choose the tab ‘Albums’ to the right. Browse through the albums you have, locate the album you want to remove, double-finger tap the album you wish to remove of your library. Then choose ‘Remove from library in the menu.

Similar to playlists, albums can also be loved by people who want to have an appropriate spot within your library. Method 3. Open the album you wish to delete from your library, either doing a manual search or finding it on the tab ‘Albums’ of your library. It will immediately take the album off your library. It also means that you no longer enjoy this album (in Spotify terms) or follow the album.
Removing Artists and Podcasts From Your Library on Spotify Desktop App

Removing Artists From Your Library

Removing Podcasts From Your Library
The removal of the podcasts you have in your Spotify library follows the same procedure as the removal of artists. There are three ways to take the podcast from your library.
Method 1. Start Spotify on your PC and select the ‘Your Library’ button at the left on the display. Select the tab ‘Podcasts’ from the categories to the right. After that, go to the podcast you wish to delete from your library. Double-finger tap it. Choose ‘Unfollow’ in the drop-down menu.
Method 2. Open the podcast you wish to delete from your library. Then, click the ‘Following’ icon to change it to Follow. This will instantly take the podcast off your library.
Method 3. Instead of clicking the ‘Follow button, select the ellipsis symbol (three vertical dots) on top of it, and choose ‘Unfollow’ in the drop-down menu.
This podcast has been taken available from your library.
Removing Music From Your Library on Spotify Mobile App
Your library includes all of your favorite or followed items in the Spotify mobile app in addition. Removing Artists From Your Library
Start Spotify on your smartphone go to “Your Library” and choose the tab ‘Artists.
Then, go through the list of the artists you have in your library and then long-tap on the artist you wish to eliminate out of your collection. Click the “Following” button in the next menu.
This will instantly eliminate the artist from your library, and you’ll be unable to follow them.
Method 2. Open the profile of the artist you wish to delete out of your collection. Then, click the “Follow” button beneath the artist’s information.
The button will change to “Follow” and then remove this artist’s profile from your collection. You will stop following the artist you have chosen from now on.
Method 3. Tap the icon of an ellipsis (three horizontal dots) just below the button ‘Following’ on the profile of the artist.
Choose the option ‘Following’ from the menu below.
You’ve now stopped following the artist, and the artist is now removed from your library.
Removing Albums From Your Library
Method 1. Start Spotify on your smartphone Tap the button ‘Your Library’ at the bottom left of the screen, then choose the tab ‘Albums’ to allow you to browse and delete the albums you have in your library.
Tap the album you wish to delete and then select ‘Liked’ with the green heart icon that will appear in the menu.
Method 2. Open the album you wish to delete from your library. Tap the heart-shaped green (liked) button that is below the album’s details to turn it into an outline (colorless) heart icon.
Method 3. Open the album you want to target by tapping the “ellipsis” symbol (three horizontal dots) just below the heart-shaped button in green.
Then, click the ‘Liked’ option with a the green heart icon on the menu below.
Removing Podcasts From Your Library
Method 1. Start Spotify on your smartphone and then tap the icon ‘Your Library to access it, then select the “Podcasts and Shows” tab that is at on the right side of your screen.
Tap the show or podcast you wish to delete from your library. Then select the ‘Stop Following option on the menu.
Method 2. Open the show or podcast you wish to delete from your library. Tap the ‘Following’ icon beneath the details of the show or podcast.
The ‘Following’ button will change into an ‘Follow’ icon, which indicates that you’re not a subscriber of the show or podcast you’re interested in and also that the show or podcast is not available in your library.
Method 3. Open the show or podcast you wish to delete from your library. Tap the symbol of an ellipsis (three horizontal dots) beneath the show’s name and the cover image.
Then, select the ‘Stop Following’ option from the menu that follows.
The podcast or show you need has been taken off your library.
